The Lloyd's List Italian Shipping Awards celebrate excellence and recognise achievement in their regional shipping community. Only companies actively operating in the Italian region are eligible to be nominated. PLEASE NOTE: Lloyd's List adjudication is based on the QUALITY of nominations, NOT on the number of entries received for any particular candidate. The judges' decision on eligibility will be final. Members of the judging panel are not eligible to judge any category in which their company or any commercial company in which they have involvement or commercial interest are nominated.

Nominations will be accepted at any time up until the closing date of Tuesday September 30, 2008.
ALL NOMINATIONS MUST

Adjudication criteria
An independent judging panel representing a broad cross-section of the Italian shipping community and impartial experts in the industry will assess the finalists' nominations and decide the recipients of all awards, with the exception of the 'Newsmaker of the Year' (winner to be decided by the senior editorial staff of Lloyd's List).
